Most Florida homeowners insurance policies cover hurricane and storm damage minus your deductible. Some have separate hurricane deductibles (typically 2 to 5% of dwelling value). We can review your policy with you.
Should I get the insurance check before hiring a roofer? +
No. Get a roofing contractor on site to inspect and document damage before your adjuster comes. We will meet your adjuster on site to make sure everything gets included in the settlement. Otherwise insurance may underpay.
How long does storm damage roof repair take? +
Emergency tarp service: same day or next day. Permanent repair: typically scheduled within 2 to 4 weeks of claim approval, depending on material availability and how many other Tampa Bay homes are also waiting after a major storm.
Can you work directly with my insurance company? +
Yes. We have worked with State Farm, Allstate, Citizens, Tower Hill, Universal, and every other major Florida insurance carrier. Direct communication with your adjuster, documentation in their preferred format.
What if my insurance only approved partial repair? +
