These Terms of Service govern your use of goodfriendroofing.net and any services provided by Goodfriend Roofing. By accessing this website or engaging our services you agree to these terms in full.

1. Company Information

2. Services

We provide residential and commercial roofing services including roof replacement, repair, storm damage restoration, inspections, and roof maintenance. All services are subject to a written contract executed prior to commencement of work.

3. Estimates and Contracts

Estimates are preliminary and subject to change based on discoveries during work (rotted decking, unforeseen conditions). A written contract must be signed by both parties before work begins. The signed contract supersedes all prior communications.

4. Payment Terms

Payment schedules are outlined in the project contract. Standard terms include a deposit at contract execution, progress payments tied to milestones, and final payment upon completion. We offer 2 year 0% interest financing and PACE financing for qualifying replacements. Late payments may result in work stoppage and applicable fees.

5. Change Orders

Any changes to the agreed scope must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties before the additional work begins. Change orders may affect price and timeline.

6. Permits and Inspections

Goodfriend Roofing obtains all required building permits as specified in the project contract. Permit fees are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise stated. Project timelines may be affected by permitting authority delays outside the Company's control.

7. Warranties

Goodfriend provides workmanship warranty on all completed roof installations as specified in your contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials (shingles, underlayment, flashing) are passed through to the client and registered with the manufacturer. This warranty does not cover damage from natural disasters, modifications by other parties, normal wear and tear, or failure to maintain.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Company's total liability shall not exceed the total contract value. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The client's sole remedy is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the affected work.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall first be submitted to good faith mediation. If unresolved within sixty (60) days the matter may proceed to binding arbitration in Hillsborough County, Florida. The prevailing party may recover reasonable attorney fees.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Legal proceedings shall be conducted in Hillsborough County, Florida.

11. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.
